The Catalyst Group knows the value of storytelling in leadership. We teach this principle in our leadership programs, and we create the space for shared leadership experiences in our workshops. We have been continually astounded at the impact and the learning people take away from hearing of other people's accounts of leadership challenges and successes.
As a result we decided that we should capture these experiences for more people to share.
If you have had an experience where someone else's leadership acts/behaviour made a significant positive impact on your development, your performance or your engagement at work, we'd like to hear your story.
Each month we will review the stories we have received and identify one that we would like to acknowledge by providing the contributor with a learning resource of their choice to the value of $50.
A selection of the stories will be compiled and featured in a book at the end of the year, and your story could be in it!
- Your experience must be real and have happened to you. (If you know of a worthwhile experience but it didn't happen to you, encourage that person to contribute, but you can't report it on their behalf).
- It must be no longer than 750 words in total.
- You must provide your contact details so that if we need to clarify aspects of your experience, that we can contact you.
- You provide permission to The Catalyst Group publishing your experience.
- You provide some demographic data like the industry you worked in, size of company, govt/private/NGO the leaders age and gender.
- Follow the format outlined on the webpage to upload your story.
